Ferrara wildland and interface apparatus have been designed to meet the rigorous demands of off road applications while still offering the flexibility for structural firefighting. Because each community's needs vary, these units are available on a variety of 4X2, 4X4 and 6X4 configurations. Each apparatus is built from heavy-duty aluminum extrusions and 3/16" thick, marine grade, aluminum alloy plate and are designed with special attention to angle or approach and departure. A long list of pump and plumbing options, including pump and roll, and foam systems as well as tank options allow you to design an apparatus to meet the needs of your department. And you can customize your department's vehicle with many of the same features found on larger apparatus such as special compartments, hose bed configurations as well as special interface options such as brush guards, booster reels, bumper turrets, ground sweep nozzles just to name a few.
